Worksite Assessments

Worksite assessments are conducted at the workplace, with both employer and injured individual present. The assessment focuses on the physical or psychological demands of the pre-injury duties; and in addition, the demands of alternative and modified duties. In consultation with the individual’s treating medical practitioners, this assessment is used to develop a suitable return to work plan for the individual.

Worksite Assessments can be incorporated into the Initial Rehabilitation Needs Assessment at the commencement of a rehabilitation program. Worksite assessments are also recommended when duties on the return to work program change or when an injured individual has been offered a new position.

For injured individuals who work in a predominantly office based environment, ResolutionsRTK recommend an Ergonomic Assessment, as it focuses on the individual’s workstation / workspace.
