Workplace Mediation

There is no getting around some facts of life: that conflict is a normal human part of organisations, and that poorly handled conflict and related stress results in big costs to business associated with higher turnover, unplanned absenteeism, and low productivity and morale for managers and teams.

Workplace Mediation can provide a decisive and helpful response to a situation that has developed into interpersonal conflict in the workplace. These are proven processes, which are particularly useful in early intervention, and work well for two people, or where the issues involve a group or team.

When two or more people in the workplace are in disagreement or in conflict, and are unable to resolve the issues between themselves, Mediation, with its inherent flexibility and strengths, provides an ideal way for the parties to seek resolution through an effective, structured process that encourages them to determine the outcome.

Our practitioners provide the parties with an opportunity to have a facilitated, confidential, open and honest discussion of their concerns, identify and develop a clearer understanding of the disputed issues, develop options and consider alternatives, allowing the parties to look for possible resolution and endeavour to reach agreement.
