Respectful Workplace Training

Sometimes we can solve problems on our own. Sometimes we need help. Organisations could save valuable time and money if they only invested in transforming the way individuals view and respond to conflict in the workplace.

As a key component of Respectful Workplace Programs, this training builds capacity to effectively manage the risk of workplace conflict, helping managers and teams to:

  • R ecognise conflict early
  • Diagnose the dynamics inherent to it
  • Utilise strategies and models for conflict intervention in place

Understanding the choices and services available when dealing with difficult workplace conflict is the key to developing healthy options to address conflict. In an intera ctive and informative program, participants will explore:

  • How their organisation’s policies and processes help them to effectively deal with conflict
  • What is expected of them when they manage issues in the workplace
  • Other supports and resources available in the organisation when they’re having difficulty raising an issue
  • How and when to have a Courageous Conversation
  • Relationship to Workplace Behaviour policies and procedures
  • A better understanding of their own behaviour, and the styles of others
  • Emotional Intelligence and how it informs the way they manage conflict

Respectful Workplace training can be tailored and packaged with other related programs such as Courageous Conversations and Workplace Behaviour, to meet the specific needs of your team or organisation.
