Putting our consulting to the test

Richard Kasperczyk
Managing Director
ResolutionsRTK

ResolutionsRTK is about to embark on another big step in its development. We are moving our head office to the city - the very heart of it, to be precise.

Our new home will be at Level 5, 255 Bourke Street - on the South-East corner of Swanston St. This means that, for a lot of our clients, it will be a short and healthy walk to see us. For others it may be an environmentally friendly tram or a train ride. For clients driving in for a quick visit, we recommend you use the City of Melbourne Carparks for proximity and price..

Our move has given us a great opportunity to experience and practise some of the change management strategies we are known for in our training, coaching and Assist service streams. Change affects all of us in different ways but it certainly does affect us. We know, both from our own and many of our client organisations' experiences, it is so important to take into account the human factor involved in change, from its planning, transitioning to the final implementation.

It's so much easier to draw the new office configurations, detailed action and contingency and plans than it is to predict the emotional response of each human being who needs to change. It is, however, possible to minimise the risk and make it easier for our staff to embrace it - through maximising the communication flow, support, and switching on all the managers' and team leaders' emotional intelligence dial on "max".

We hope that our move to the city will allow us to get closer to many of our city-based clients not just through our geographical proximity but more opportunities for strategic chats to solve complex people dynamics and create positive organisations. We will retain and, in time expand, all our satellite sites in the metropolitan area.

Please update our contact details your data base. As we've been saying to each other today, "See you in the city!"
