Early Intervention Case Management

Our Early Intervention Case Management service assists employers to implement an early return to work or maintenance at work program for employees who have:

  • A non-compensable injury or illness (personal related)
  • A pre-claim, work related injury or illness (within five days of injury)
  • A post-claim, work related injury or illness (at claims acceptance)

This service is specifically designed for cases that are unlikely to resolve themselves without independent and professional case management intervention.

Our Early Intervention Case Management service benefit both employer and injured individuals by:

  • Providing expertise in the crucial early stage of claim and injury / illness management
  • Identifying issues best solved by claims management or injury / illness management
  • Assisting in controlling premiums and / or productivity issues from day one
  • Providing coaching for employer representatives in managing and monitoring the return to work process

In this way, we can prevent health problems becoming entrenched and workplace relations strained, whilst reducing the economic and human costs of injury and illness in the workplace.
