Codes of Conduct

Dysfunction and conflict in teams can be brought about by many factors, including rapid organisational change, changes in leadership, new situations and expectations, with any of these generally leading to significant down-time in productivity.

Sometimes what is needed is a prompt and effective intervention to fast track the resolution of a team’s distress or dysfunction. Working with the team to develop a Code of Conduct can help them get back on track.

Using a facilitated workshop process, our experienced consultants will work with a team to develop a set of agreed workplace practices around values and behaviours. The resultant Code of Conduct provides guidelines on the reasonable expectations of the team members towards each other and the organisation.

Even when team issues are not fully resolved, a Code of Conduct can help guide activities and actions in the workplace by specifying agreed standards of behaviour, and setting out professional boundaries and expectations about each individual’s responsibilities to they people they work with.
