Vocational/Job Placement Employment Consultant | Restore Team

Fulltime, part-time 4 days a week.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a diverse professional team working for an established and expanding provider of occupational rehabilitation, risk management and support services.

We are currently seeking an appropriately experienced professional to join our dynamic team.

You will possess:

• Relevant experience in vocational or employment services assisting clients to gain new employment.
• Be a reliable, target focused individual with excellent time management and customer service skills.
• A relevant under graduate degree, and/or appropriate career counseling experience/ qualification will be highly regarded.
• Current motor vehicle and access to own car
• A minimum of 1-3 years experience in relevant field.

You will have outstanding interpersonal, negotiation and report writing skills with a demonstrated ability to provide solution focused assessments, case management and return to work services in a compensable environment.

• Computer operations

Previous experience in providing such programs would be considered an advantage.

Position Description

Position Title: RTW New Employer Consultant – Restore

Qualifications:
Relevant tertiary qualifications and / or industry experience.

Reports to:
Team Leader – Restore
The Manager - Restore

Primary Position Objectives:
• To manage a case load of clients and achieve industry and ResolutionsRTK key performance indicators.
• To facilitate the achievement of RTW outcomes with clients and customers within ResolutionsRTK.
• To provide high quality and timely customer service to our clients and customers.
• To generate repeat business through high quality work, customer service provision and achievement of  RTW outcomes.
Technical Competencies required:
• Knowledge of vocational service principals for seeking, coaching and placing clients into suitable employment.
• Knowledge of compensable systems for delivering rehabilitation, early intervention and return to work services.
• Proficient computer literacy in Microsoft products.
Personal Competencies Required:
• Ability to work under pressure in a multi-disciplinary environment.
• Positive thinking and solutions focussed.
• High level organisational skills.
• Superior customer service skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Able to meet deadlines.
• Good report writing skills.

Key Duties / Roles:
Processes:

• Ensure compliance with procedures and processes with relevant legislation, statutory authority guidelines, service agreements and service standards e.g. VWA, ComCare, TAC.
• Participate in case reviews, audits, staff development activities, staff meetings and process improvement initiatives on a monthly basis.
• Understand and utilise TimeCost (internal IT system) for case management servicing and for performance data collection.
• Carry a caseload of files that ensures familiarity with different OR service models and complexity of cases.
People:
• Maintain staff morale and facilitate team cohesion and positive peer influence relating to high quality standards and customer service performance.
Customers:
• Maintain and grow existing or new relationships as a key account person for Restore.
Financial:
• Achieve personal billing targets
• Achieve personal RTW outcomes for the purpose of gaining RTW incentives

Key Performance Indicators –RTW New Employer Services Consultant 2011 / 2012
1. Achieve individual RTW target of a minimum of 45% RTW outcomes for WorkSafe and 60% for TAC per month.
2. All cases to have TimeCost update on a monthly basis.
3. Timely submission of reports in accordance with scheme guidelines
4. Monthly completion of quality assurance activities
5. Achieve billable target of 30 hours per week and the average revenue equivalent.
6. Drive service innovation and service delivery efficiencies in ResolutionsRTK job seeking program e.g. maximal job club attendance, cold canvassing.
7. Establish a job bank of employers, with a minimum of 5-10 new employers per year.
8. Adherence to SLA’s and internal policies and procedures
9. Demonstration of innovative implementation of ideas to improve service delivery
10. Completion of case tracking by 5pm on the last business day of the month (includes updates to all relevant fields).
11. Nil formal complaints for a 6 month period.
12. Nil returned service delivery reports
13. 90 % Reports completed within specified timeframes.
14. 100% pass rate for the closed file audits.
15. Professional development activities to be undertaken with a minimum of 2 per year (includes internal and external training programs, courses, seminars, briefing, as well as staff meeting attendance).
